Community Teams

This course equips community leaders, service providers, and support organizations with the skills to recognize, understand, and respond to the needs of individuals living with dementia and their caregivers.

Overview

Community Teams support the person with dementia, their family, caregivers going into their home, and staff in care homes. This training program will help you to better understand dementia, the challenges that can be experienced by the person and all of those involved in their care and support. Through collaborative approaches, this course fosters dementia-friendly communities that promote dignity, accessibility, and meaningful engagement for all.
